JASON HONEYCUTT
Jason Honeycutt is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in a rural farm town Michigan, growing-up making films from childhood. He worked three jobs to pay for film school and moved to Los Angeles where he has directed and/or edited content for studios and networks like Dreamworks, Disney, Universal, Sony Music, 20th Century Fox, and others. He is the winner of two Clio Gold awards, 10 Promax Gold Awards, and is part of the award-winning On-Air Promotions team at FX Network, helping them to win Promax’s “Marketing Team of the Year” breaking an all-time record of ten times in a row.
His short films, “Returning Home” and “Intersection” won awards such as “Best Short Film” at the Durango Independent Film Festival, “Best Screenplay” at the Idyllwild International Film Festival, “Best Drama” and “Best Director” at the Apex Film Festival, as well as 15 other “Best of” wins or nominations. His next short film, “Supermom” has appeared in over 30 film festivals, including the prestigious Los Angeles festivals, Dances with Films and Hollyshorts, and has won five “Best of” awards including “Best Short Film” and “Best Director.” “Supermom” also was syndicated nationally for two years, on networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX.
